AN (Andhra) TE (Telangana) RA ( Rayalaseema)= ANTERA

Where the Kitchens of Andhra, Telangana, Rayalaseema regions unite with a twist.....
Finally! Hyderabad gets it’s fine dine restaurant offering all the three popular cuisines of Andhra, Telangana and Rayalaseema under one roof with a bar to boot, and with superb ambience, (blending wonderfully both the traditional & modern elements of interiors).. And I’m loving it!
Owners Pooja & Sowmith Reddy can rightly take pride in the effort of their love’s labour.

#AnTeRa (an acronym made of Andhra, Telangana, Rayalaseema, the cuisines on offer) is bound to go places .. The interiors deserve a special mention as the charming young co owner Pooja Reddy has planned every detail down to perfection be it the wood finish stone tiles with prints or the paintings on the walls or the green space strategically located right in the middle! It’s a huge restaurant with 160 covers with a separate PDR & kitty party area. We wish the Reddy couple & Team AnTeRa a glorious launch.
This new kid on the block offering a premium fine dining experience, be it the Paya Shorba or the Hyderabadi breakfast staple of Khichdi Kheema Khatta or the wonderful Rayalaseema style Prawns Fry.. or even the Kodi Pulao. There are also some kickass cocktails like Fasak, an Old Monk rum special with undertones of pina colada & Managadu , a whisky sour special.

Food Fiasco We initially ordered  Joint Biryani , but to our surprise, the staff  denied our order, claiming they were out of stock . A reputed restaurant running out of its key dish during peak hours? That was the first red flag. Left with no choice, we opted for  Fry Piece Pulav , thinking at least that would be a safe bet. What arrived at our table was downright ridiculous: ✔  One bowl of  sambar  (since when does sambar go with pulav?) ✔   Eight pieces of fried chicken ✔   Chitti Muthyalu rice  (tiny-grain rice) Now,  how are we supposed to eat plain rice with just fried chicken?  No proper gravy, —just a dry, incomplete meal that made no sense. At this point, we were...
